Working in the Levin lab to help research effective ways to make late-stage edits to amino acid side chains with the long-term goal of potential pharmaceutical uses.

Worked in the Martik lab to maintain transgenic lines through husbandry and single-cell injections and perform ventricular resections and heart removals. This position also provided opportunities to gain skills in immunohistochemical staining, creating transgenic lines, PCR, cryosection hearts, and image slides using confocal microscopy.

Taught and planned multiple 30-minute swim lessons for various ages and collaborated with other instructors to provide lessons for groups of 10-20 infants, toddlers, or children.

Taught and planned a one-hour class for 8-15 kids aged 6-10 every Tuesday and spent at least 4 hours weekly calling and emailing leads, signing up students, and managing Zoom dojo.
