Chief Revenue OfficerCarbon Kapture May 2021 - PresentAt Carbon Kapture, we’ve developed a disruptive approach to carbon sequestration that combines fast-growing seaweed with the permanence of biochar. Unlike other nature-based solutions, our method locks CO₂ away permanently, preventing it from re-entering the atmosphere. With biochar, we ensure long-term carbon storage, which is crucial for achieving real impact. What makes this project unique is its scalability and ability to bring carbon capture directly to where companies and individuals generate their emissions, rather than relying on distant offset schemes. We’re building the world’s largest network of seaweed farms by 2030, combining effective carbon capture with tangible local benefits for ecosystems and communities. I’m lucky enough to be a part of this genuinely incredible story. Our first seaweed farm is in Ireland and has capacity for one million metres of rope. If you'd like to help, drop me a line. -

Senior Campaign ManagerAstute Ltd Mar 2006 - May 2007Bournemouth, GbA Senior Management role reporting directly to the Operations Director, responsible for the delivery of multi-faceted telemarketing campaigns for customers across EMEA. Key responsibility of driving and developing a team of Campaign Managers, focused on each line of IT business, and a delivery team of agents who translate these campaign requirements into Decision Maker Conversations. Contact Centre ManagerHamworthy Heating Ltd Mar 2005 - Dec 2005Poole, Dorset, GbTasked with shifting the culture of a 30 agent contact centre from reactive order taking to proactive sales I restructured the flow of the centre to create an operational logic from pre-sales through to post-sales, technical support and spares. Acquired by Private Equity firm NBGI in 2002 the company was seen as a strong brand in the market but lacked rigour in its operations. Identified skill-set bottle-necks were removed through the implementation of a multi-skilling programme supported by an employee reward system - this allowed for a headcount reduction of 15%. Company exposure to bunkered experience was removed through the implementation of an intelligent search-based intranet. The company sold for 6x return. -
Head Of MarketingEasy Networks Jan 2004 - Jan 2005Portsmouth, Hampshire, GbWith its roots in structured cabling, Easy Networks has been the ICT partner of choice for all Hampshire schools since 1995. In 2004, with annual revenues slowly declining, Easy strategically acquired educational advisory company All-in-1 Communications in order to gain a lead generation function.Tasked with an aggressive 85% increase in revenue, as well as integrating the marketing value of All-in-1, I developed and executed a strategy focused on expanding the portfolio as well as the company’s target geography. An early emphasis was placed on implementing a customer contact programme for retention purposes. In tandem the business employed experienced Operational and Sales heads to create structure and take new products to the existing customer base. This was directly followed by a concentrated effort on customer acquisition across new territories. Relationships were built with local education authorities to create a trusted advisor status and alliances formed with new vendors and distributors to add diversity to the rapidly growing solution set. Within 12 months revenue targets were achieved and the company has gone from strength to strength since. -
DirectorAll-In-1 Communications Jan 2001 - Jan 2004Started with a £5,000 grant from the Prince’s Trust, All-in-1 had two distinct market offerings; the public face of the business provided free independent ICT advice to schools whilst the commercial side worked with the channel to align opportunities to appropriate solutions providers.Over a three year period the service was used by more than 1,200 schools in the UK. Such was its success that in 2004 Easy Networks, an educational ICT services company, acquired All-in-1 to gain a specialist marketing capability and to extend its footprint into new geographic territories.
