IP (Intelligent Peripheral) is a telephony application that is used to process INAP (Intelligent Network Application Part) operations.IP is a part of IN (Intelligent Network). It contains a set of call flow routines, each designed to execute a particular INAP operation such as PA (Play Announcement), PACUI (Prompt and Collect user Information). INAP PDUs (Protocol Data Units) are sent to IP from SCP (Service Control Point), which decodes and processes them.IP runs on SS7 stack. .IP contains the ETSI Core CS-1 capability set functionality and some of CS-2 capability set functionality.Team Size and My Responsibility: Team consists of 5 people.
