Expectations/Reality:1. Trip assurance: Leading a cross-functional team for managing a machine Learning based product called as Trip assurance. Responsibilities:• Conversions: number of users opting this service.• Distribution: number of people eligible to opt this service.• Pricing: fees that user pays to opt for the service.• Profit/loss: overall growth is sustainable.• Requirement specification: PRDs in collaboration with design and dev teams.• Testing and deployment: manually test all releases with final sign off.• Root cause analysis: analyze failures from prediction model to mitigate future risks in collaboration with ML team.• Pre/post release analytics to measure success.• Operations: in case of a failure, user gets rewarded with a flight ticket and expense is handled, in collaboration with support and finance team.• Marketing activities: In-app messages, user journeys, campaigns, blogs and PR releases are handled in collaboration with marketing team.• Roadmap: Strategy, plan and execution for next 3-6 months.• Report: KPIs to make sure product metrics are healthy in collaboration with product, marketing and business teams.2.
