The role at Fabriclore was an interesting one, where I started as a freelance fashion business expansion researcher and made my way to launching a new department and leading it as Sr. Associate -Custom Design & Development, and worked with more then 50 overseas B2B clients to develop their design collections from design inception to final production.Product design & development: Creating collections for the season keeping in mind current fashion trend, brand identity, aesthetics, initial inspiration, feasibility of production & costing as per the brand positioning in market.- Initial design research & range development,- Prototype development & execution as per the Silhouette, - Hands on experience in surface ornamentation: Hand embroidery and Machine embroidery,- Print technique explored: Hand-block, Screen, Tie-dye & Digital.Project management: Curating T&A plan as per the lead-time & executing the same, which included technical designs of products from concept to factory, incl. fabric and trim selection, meeting and selecting vendors, & getting the products` developed as per the fit & look of styles
