I started my career with an internship at Solar Energy International, working in the field for an established solar contractor, and quickly moving on to co-found A&R Solar. Over the years A&R has won awards for workforce development, fast growth, best workplaces, and more. We've continued our push to change the way business is done by developing over two dozen employee owners, become a certified B Corp, and Social Purpose Corporation. When I review my life, I continually find that a solar contractor still fulfills that value decision I made to leave the rat race of corporate IT and move into a career that supports entrepreneurship, the environment, and social justice.
