Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (SIERY)This project aims to promote inclusive and equitable economic growth for the targeted SMEs by following a value chain development approach and promoting food security, access to health, income generation, and job creation in the above-mentioned value chains. It seeks to ensure the poor and low-income families, and MSMEs in targeted areas involved in the selected value chains participate and benefit from the economic empowerment and growth.The Project supervisor hold overall responsibility for the implementation of the project in four cities in Yemen. The PS has the following responsibilities: • Ensure the correct and effective management of the project from a technical, organizational and financial point of view.• Ensure constant coordination, reporting, and close cooperation with the appropriate UNDP team. • Guarantee project team compliance with the Operations Manual and its policies and procedures.• Ensure the implementation of the project in accordance with the financial management and procurement systems at SMEPS and in compliance with UNDP requirements. • Manage and lead a project team, ensuring in particular strong, practical technical and business management skills among the staff working on the project;

Business Resilience Assistance for Value-adding Enterprises (BRAVE) for Women) project.The project development objective is to enhance the resilience of MSMEs owned/managed by women in fragile context as potential engines for innovation, employment, and improved standard of living.* Key Achievements• Preparing the targeted group for the project intervention and explaining to them the project mechanism.•Prepare operation manual for project consultants duties.•Control and apply the project activity in Sana’a,Ibb,Taiz and Hodeidah.•Responsible for employing consultants and coordinators inside the provinces.•Make workshops and meetings with other partners like Banks,CSCCI(Chamber of commerce and industry)•Responsible for managing the risks and challenges faced during implementing the project and come up with solutions to solve them•Responsible for preparing the monthly,quarterly and closure reports•Responsible for coordinating with the Finance to know what was spent compared to the activities that were carried out every quarter•Discussing business plans and evaluating the equipment that is needed* Key Duties-Lead and support the Project Team, ensuring good internal communications, exchange of information, and teamwork. In Sana’a , Ibb ,Taiz, Hodeidah-Undertaking orientation for the project consultants-Overseeing implementation activities of the project consultants and ensuring a high level of coordination-Quality assurance of services both in design and implementation-Updating the project manager and the management committee-Support the project outreach and dissemination-Reporting directly to the Project Manager-Coordinating with Stakeholders in Project during the activities-Record issues, risks, and lessons learned before, during, and after the project's completion-provide administrative and technical support to the team and consultants in the field-Evaluate business plans for the targeted beneficiaries and the requirements that they needed
