Assisting in admin duties. Assess proposals received from debt counsellors, and approve, decline or offer counter proposals. Facilitate the resolution of queries. Manage work flow process with Debt Counsellors, Credit Providers, Credit Bureaus and at times Payment .Distribution Agents. Manage and update work lists (DRS, CACS and Manual).Verify information received from Debt Counsellor on Standard Bank Host Systems. Update DRS and Host Systems with relevant data.Request documents from Metro File if need be.Liaise with other business units to retrieve contracts on accounts i.e. cancellations, building loans.Handle queries from Debt Counsellors, customers and business units.Formulate restructure proposals to managers for approval and sign off.To terminate accounts in accordance with the terminations criteria as per Industry and in line with the terminations criteria per product where customer has not complied with the agreement to make payments in accordance with an accepted proposal – s86(10) or a Court Order - s88(3), across all SBSA products in Debt Review. To complete the full vetting process prior to terminating. To ensure that all required notifications sent to the customer; Debt Counsellor and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) are received from Direct Marketing and Direct Channel before terminating an account. To Exit a customer from debt review on receipt of a Form 17.4 as notification from a debt counsellor to withdraw the customer from the process. To re-instate accounts post terminations e.g. if customer can provide proof of payment in instances where the funds were paid into an incorrect account number.
