To manage and coordinate reporting, logistical, operational and project management support across all VAF business units to achieve its strategic objectives and address delivery gaps, implement and maintain governance standards, manage business performance and financial measures, and continuously improve operational efficiency of the team.My tenure in the role was limited to 6 months due an organizational restructure.

To identify and report credit risks arising from the Group's global business across Client Segments and Client Solutions. Appropriately manage Credit Risk in accordance with the requirements of the Standard Bank Group Credit Risk Governance Standard and associated polices. To perform detailed credit portfolio analysis and provide expert advice and guidance to interested stakeholders across the Standard Bank Group. Implementation of credit assurance initiatives and projects across the Group where required.

To support the Head of the Business Support & Recoveries team in the production of regular reporting and furnishing requested insights and analytics to enable them to deliver their strategic objectives. Furthermore, to pro-actively attend to the recoveries process and the protection of the bank’s asset base on non-performing loans with values across the entire product spectrum.

Manage the Director’s inbox, by responding on his behalf, and diary management. Consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting for Group Governance Committee. Furthermore manage travel budget together with the Head of Operations, plan and manage conferences.

To support the Director of Risk as well as the entire team and manage the Director’s electronic diary as well as plan and organize meetings. Budget for travel requirements for the Director and the entire team and execute Operational Risk conferences. Prepare executive meeting packs and take dictation, as well as manage relationships on behalf of the Director and his stakeholders.

Processing of daily and monthly payments, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, complying with all Group Finances Procedures. Investigations of all failed payments, and taking necessary measures.
