Cristina is a passionate Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) with a background in the social-economic sector with a degree in Political Science and an MSc in Local Economic Development - with a focus on socio-economic statistical modelling (London School of Economics). Further to this she has an MSc in Landscape Architecture and a passion for landscape art and digital technology. Her diverse work experience includes working as a landscape architect for The Canal & River Trust and private landscape architecture studios before setting up her landscape architecture practice in 2013.She is a Building with Nature (BwN) Assessor, the first UK Green Infrastructure accreditation and a visiting lecturer at Greenwich University. In 2020 she was presented with the Landscape Institute award for Excellence in Horticulture and Planting Design and the 2022 Susdrain/Ciria SuDS award for leading the co-designing of a landscape-led masterplan that integrates SuDS early on in the design process. Cristina has also acted as an advisor for the Islington Design Review Panel and champions the development of greener and more sustainable places where wildlife and human habitat can coexist harmoniously for the wellbeing of all.Cristina is an Expert for the High Street Task Force in SuDS and biodiversity improvements with broader implications relating to placemaking and urban design. She has a wide international experience, growing up between Scandinavia, Italy and Kenya. This enables her to appreciate diversity of cultures, which adds to the creative flair of her designs.
