In 2003 I along with my wife, founded Group Building Solutions Ltd. Our business began as a independent commission only flooring consultancy business of supplier goods and services via A&D companies throughout New Zealand.As we grew the business we started to import, distribute and supply our own range of high quality boutique fitted Floor and Wall coverings. Providing solutions, technical support for a growing client base. In 2006 were honoured to be appointed the New Zealand distributor to Japanese giant flooring and wall coverings manufacture Toli Corporation and have enjoyed a very close and strong relationship supplying many prestigious projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.Toli Corporation manufactures a range of broadloom carpets, carpet tiles, domestic and commercial sheet vinyl’s, tiles and accessories, along with an extensive line of modern Japanese and European inspired designed wall coverings. Toli Corporation were the first manufacture to introduce a 250 mm x 1000 mm carpet tile to the market and continue innovations like highly anti viral protected products for floor and wall coverings since 2022 for the health and aged care markets.in 2011, Group Building Solutions Ltd, also registered ECOFLOORS LTD, and are today known as ECOFLOORS NZ Ltd. During that time ECOFLOORS has brought together a network of manufacturers and suppliers that include, USA - Flexco/Roppe Corporation, US Recycled Rubber manufacturers of Quietsound and Survivor Gym Flooring, Italy - REMP Rubber Flooring, South Korea, I-Badak Rubber and Acoustic Sound control products, Portugal - Portuguese giant cork flooring, wallcoverings and acoustic underlays manufacture, Sedacor Corporation. In 2019 our partnerships extended to Australia to include, Nolan UDA (textiles and ex-Autex Carpets supplier), Preference Floors (Wood and laminate floors) and I-Rubber (StaticWorx carpets and resilient conductive and antistatic floorcoverings). With over 15,000 plus customers ECOFLOORS, today we sell directly to end users. Supporting the A&D, design build developer market, education sector, government and defence departments, data centre specialists as well as independent health and aged care markets. In 2023 we see extensive grown in anti-static products, introducing StaticWorx and Toli Conductive flooring and health and well begin with anti viral sheet vinyl and safety flooring.
