Chairing of the CAN/ULC S338 Ed. 1 R2018 committee review to upgrade this first deployed in 1998 standard to include current vehicle technologies that are on our vehicles of today.

This committee shall study, consider, and determine the various methods and means by which the crime of vehicle theft is committed, including the make and type of vehicles most commonly stolen; survey, investigate, and evaluate the techniques and methods employed by the police and other agencies in solving and reducing the incidence of vehicle theft cases; and report to this Association for dissemination to all interested agencies all pertinent information and recommendations that will reduce the incidence of this major crime.
