Portfolio Company - Mervyns- Drive the execution of key enterprise initiatives through the Profit Acceleration Program to reduce overall company expenses by $168 million, and improve productivity through performance optimization, best practices & BPR, to realize targeted bottom line profitability goals.- Under direction of the Senior Executive Committee developed Mervyn’s 3 year strategic plan as a $3 billion retailer, and established a KPI dashboard to track performance.- Prepared the company’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), as well as Investor Updates for the CEO, private equity owners Cerberus Capital, and Sun Capital, and other external investors.- Controlled PMO projects and $194 million program budget, including GAAP & Tax compliance, of MARS “Mervyns Advanced Retail Systems”, completing the replacement of all systems and applications enterprise wide, on-time and on budget.
