In this role, I define and shape our company strategy while driving consistent results for securing new partnerships for SimpleMDG - the organization’s premiere tool within the SAP BTP space that provides the simplest way for companies to manage their Master Data.I serve as an expert resource and consultant in the assessment of a variety of strategic initiatives on how to further develop, cultivate and deliver the best solutions to some of the fastest growing companies in North America. I collaborate directly with the Company Founder and President on new initiatives and strategies – working closely with leaders from our marketing and solution teams to solve business-critical challenges for the company and for our clients. • Supported the pre-and post-Migration work for SAP S4-HANA 1605 at Dole Packaged Foods. Handled all configuration work related to SAP FICO, wrote test scripts, performed integration testing, provided training and guidance to over 100 end users in this end to end SAP migration project.• Project Lead for XSuite AP SAP Automation. Gathered and collected business requirements and delivered the OCR solution in time and within Budget. Provided training to over 70++ Buyers with 38++ Approvers and wrote Functional Designs and Training Manuals that is used across all divisions at Dole Packaged Foods.• Responsible for delivering Finance and Controlling business capabilities within the SAP FICO Application Module. Configures, Manages and Resolves all work orders related to the SAP FICO Modules. • Leverages business acumen and system expertise by partnering with end users to determine the business need. In charge of running the day to day operations including management of the Financials, Cash Flow Analysis, implementation and maintenance of Great Plains Financial Ledger. Acts as the Companies Chief Financial Officer performing sensitive duties including critical Human Resource functions.•Reconciled QED’s Financials for the past 4 years (2005 to 2008). Implemented procedures to enhance the day-to-day operations of the Firm. Worked with Moss Adams Auditors to tie the reported Financials and reflect the numbers onto the Financial Great Plains System.•Implemented the full Accounting Software (Great Plains) for the Company in 2009 – remapped the financials from 2005 to catch up to the current period. This involved the ability to combine the understanding of GAAP guidelines with the knowledge of how the Great Plains System functions. This involved the reorganization of the daily procedures of the Company to match with the newly implemented system – including A/P, A/R, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.•Took the Company from a Negative Cash Position in February 2009 to a Positive Cash Flow by May 2009. Established a Cash Management Deck that allowed the company to truly see where it was on a Cash Position which enabled Management to make critical decisions. •Created an Annualized Projection of Costs to determine what moves were necessary to keep the Company afloat during these hard economic times. Recommended and executed adjustments to better position the company for the future. Streamlined essential key processes to eliminate duplication of work and to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the Company (across all departments – Sales, Accounting, and Legal).•Managed a Team of 3 Employees (Controller, Staff Accountant, A/P Clerk) that help in the daily work load of the Group. Provides training, support, and constant motivation.

•SAP Super User. Lead person for the management and design of the Master Data. Managed and supervised the By Title Asset creation to the new system. Created an SAP Accounting Manual that helped the company transition onto the new SAP policies and procedures. •Prepared the Quarterly Management Financial Package for the Company. This comprehensive package included By-Title Reporting, Account Roll Forward schedules and Company Profitability Ratio Analysis. This included the preparation of the By Title Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and other Financial Schedules. It involved a deep understanding of the business and knowledge of current GAAP rules and guidelines. Deeply involved in the quarterly SEC Filing - resolved issues related to the 10Q Package Submission on a timely and efficient manner.•Worked directly with the company CFO to determine the By Title and By Licensor Profitability. Analyzed current and upcoming deals with the CFO as it relates to Financial Terms and Conditions. Provided insight on calculating by Unit Cost Analysis and determines which costs can be charged back to Participants. •Formulated the methodologies and concepts needed to calculate the By Title Returns, Price Protection, and Inventory Obsolescence Reserves for the Company. These reserves accounted for 90% of the Company’s Total Reserves booked on a Quarterly basis. The improvement on the accuracy of the reserves due to the methodologies implemented accounted for an accurate Financial Ledger; it avoided any surprises in the subsequent quarters starting from Q3 2007 through 2009.•Managed all streams of revenue for the Company which included DVD Sell Thru, Rental/Revenue Share, Online & Games. This entailed a deep understanding of all agreements to properly facilitate Revenue Recognition for the Company. Involved assessments on Deal Profitability, Accounting Treatment of Costs & Minimum Guarantees, Deduction management & other aspects related to the various agreements.

•SAP Project FICO Lead. Single handedly implemented SAP for WB Interactive ($65M Company) and Monolith Productions ($10M Company). Performed all of the SAP System Maintenance and Data Set up for the Division. This included but is not limited to: Creation and Maintenance of the FI and Consolidations GL Chart of Accounts, Cost and Profit Center Hierarchy Structure, Internal Orders, Projects, Procure to Pay, Business Warehouse, Assets, Report Customization, Purchase Order Management, etc. •Performed all of the Financial Reporting and Systems responsibilities for WBIE. Also included Financial Planning responsibilities, Budget analysis and SAP Master Data maintenance. SAP Super User.•Performed all of the Accounting Responsibilities for the Division on a Daily Basis. Handled the structure for segregation of duties including SAP Roles and Functions within the Finance Team. •System Administrator for the ARriba Group of Applications (SAP, LMSi, Oracle, and OFA).•Performs Client Testing and creates System Specifications for requested Enhancements in the custom built Licensing Management System (LMSi) used by the Division in Burbank and by clients around the world.•Analyzes and resolves all ARriba issues encountered by the different local and international departments of the Division including that of the Finance, Legal, Audit, and Accounting Group. Acts as a liaison between the end users of ARriba and Developers of the MIS Department. Responsible to ensure that the code and scripts created by the IT group is coherent to the current business and accounting practices of WBCP/GAAP. •Assists/Performs weekly data load of Revenue Figures from Oracle GL into the Flash Database and Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA). Answers inquiries related to the said procedure and if necessary, assists in the creation of new queries needed to resolve discrepancies.•Provide group or one on one training sessions with members of the division to broaden use, understanding and familiarity of LMSi, Oracle, and OFA as the divisions’ primary sources of licensing and revenue information.

•Lead the team in the daily management, resolution and tracking of reconciliation items that were in the customers’ accounts. Assisted the Vice President in the preparation and analysis of Budgeting Information.•Reconciled the Largest Account of Warner Home Video Retail Direct Group, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club (Account Balance $500++Million). Created new queries and maintained the Access Database for the Division. Upon request, also created new reports for Senior Management. Created various Custom Reports to capture current customer activities and deductions.•Acted as a liaison between the customer’s A/P Department and Warner Home Video’s A/R Department. Ensured that the proper deductions and invoices were applied accordingly to the customer’s remittance.•Performed both the A/R and Recon responsibilities for the largest account of Warner Home Video Non-Retail Division, Ingram Entertainment (Account Balance $25++ Million). The only person that was able to establish an effective and efficient Cash Application Procedure for Ingram Entertainment. (Previous method took 7 business days – new procedure reduced this to only 2 days). Provided training to members of the department in regard to procedures established in processing various types of claims. (Shortages, Returns, Price Protections, Rebates, and Advertising). •Helped manage all aspects of the Cash Forecasting process including planning, preparation and analysis of Financial Data, identified trends and patterns in customer payments through historical information, monitored actual performance and communicated to upper management. •Responsible for balancing the Invoices and Credits/Debits being sent from the WHV Order System (VDOE) to its Accounting Software (Oracle) on a daily basis. Involved analysis of all issues related in this critical procedure.
