He’s BAAAACK! The wait is finally over! After a 6 year hiatus, Reggie Regg the Magic Man is bringing his award winning action packed MagiComedy back to the Greater Kansas City area.For a decade (2007-2017), Reggie Regg had performed thousands of shows and reached hundreds of thousands of youth, all over the country! Reggie not only won Stage Magician of the Year in 2008 for Kansas City International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM), but had been considered one of the BEST children’ s & family entertainers in the Midwest!As Reggie began building his own brand, he would eventually partner with Roy Scott, founder of Healthy Hip Hop. Together, they would record multiple children’s albums, film the pilot episode of their Kids TV show, “Keep It Moving”, perform hundreds of shows in over 15 states and even filmed for Season 7 of Shark Tank.

Oversee operations & marketing:In 2019, I was looking for my next investment and decided to choose a Latin Style restaurant that had been open for approximately 9 years as more of a “mom & pop” style establishment. My goal was to scale this business and eventually sell it for a profit.At the time, the restaurant was located in a small strip center in Lee’s Summit that did not get much traffic. So I scouted a new location, in the fast growing downtown Lee’s Summit area. The building was on the corner, had just been gutted and “white-boxed”- basically ready for extensive renovation.Aside from negotiating lease terms with the landlord, I oversaw a 6 month renovation in which I worked with my attorney, architect, General Contractor and a handful of other specialized talents to turn 4 walls into a beautiful fully functional restaurant & bar. Under budget and ahead of schedule.My team and I created training manuals, policy & procedures manuals and an Employee Handbook. The prior location had only 4 employees and our new location had 24 employees and 2 managers at open.We had our “soft opening” on Super Bowl Sunday of 2020 and the following week we were open to the public. The first month grossed roughly $100k, a little less than the company previously made for the entire year.Unfortunately, a month later we were hit with the pandemic. I oversaw a quick shift in focus to 100% carryout and online/to-go orders. Transitioned our website to take orders and immediately partnered with four 3rd party delivery services so we could continue to operate at a high level without dine-in.In our first year of a new location and in a pandemic year, we surprisingly grossed over $600k and so our customer base grow tenfold. We decided to list the company for sale in the summer of 2022 and it is currently under contract with a closing date of Dec 2, 2022.

Oversee operations for organization:I was the Executive Director of a Non Profit organization- BP, Inc. This organization connected Black Owned businesses to the community through technology & education.BP created a first of its kind interactive mobile app technology that was tested and launched in Kansas City. I worked directly with IT team in developing digital properties. Also oversaw the multi-layered testing of technology with different consumer groups.As ED, I shared the mission of the organization with the public through successful community outreach and marketing strategies. Literally created a “Movement” through our social media platforms- Facebook & Instagram. Assisted in writing & creating content that received over 1.6 million impressions in one year.In less than a year, through developing content and online/social media schedules, the BP Facebook page gained over 15,000 Fans and Instagram over 3,000 followers. Created an inclusive message that made people of all ethnicities feel a part or f the Movement, although the focus was BOBs.Raised over $100k for organization in less than a year and secured sponsorships from UMB Bank and Hot 103.3 just to name a few. Hired and managed a diverse staff- Executive Secretary, Director of PR& Events, Director of Community Engagement, Director of Production, Director of Fundraising and Director of Marketing. I also oversaw BP Launch Event & Launch of Mobile Application. Over 5,000 downloads in first 30 days. Executed on-time, under budget project management to adhere to project road map.

In the first 5 years, my business partner and I not only performed more than 1,500 shows reaching hundreds of thousands of youth but created content that was utilized in thousands of elementary schools nationwide to keep students focused & active. We were considered by many as the "Wiggles" of the 21st century! From merchandise, live shows, publishing and even aspirations of producing our own kids TV show.In September 2015 we had the opporunity to pitch for season 7 of Shark Tank. Not only was it the most amazing experience but we even closed a deal with Kevin O'Leary. Almost 6 months later we got the call we had been waiting for only to find out that our episode was blocked from airing due to a conflict of interest. Disney, which owns ABC, viewed our company as competition and not only kept our episode from airing but took our deal with Kevin O'Leary off the table.In 2016 the company pivoted to an Ed Tech company and took full advantage of the "start up" commununity and resources Kansas City had to offer. Although I left the company in 2018, my business partner at the time has continued moving forward and is taking the company & brand to even greater heights! I am one of his biggest fans!

America’s Pub, Inc was a popular dance club & sports bar that had been in operation for over 20 years and had locations in 3 states. In their earlier days, they had close to 20 locations all over the country. Their locations were always in entertainment districts- in KC their location was Westport, in Wichita their location was Old Town and in Oklahoma City it was Bricktown. KC Power & Light had just opened and literally took Americas Pub’s entire crowd. They were losing roughly $15k per month and I had a connection with the General Manager. I knew what it would take to turn this venue around so I put together a proposal with my entrepreneurial & creative resume, and told the GM to get me in front of the owners. I met the ownership group and blew them away. They had nothing to lose so they let me execute my vision for the KC location.Within 30 days, the Pub in KC was generating over $50k just on the weekends. Under my direction, in the first year, the KC Pub grossed over $2.5 million.As ownership saw the #s dropping at their other 2 locations, they invited me to come on board as the Director of Marketing & Events and oversee everything.I utilized my contacts & networks with the CoreDjs and over a 3 year period, brought over 20 hip hop/pop artists on a 3 city tour to all of the establishments (Snoop Dog, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Travis Porter, Dorrough, Yung Joc, Chalie Boy, Kid Capri, Too Short and Waka Floka just to name a few)

Real estate investing and property management firm. Owned and managed over 100 units made up of apartment buildings, commercial, mixed use and single family units. Largest acquisition was an entire city block made up of commercial (barber shop, beauty salon, tire shop, office space, etc), apartment units, and less than an acre of land with the goal to eventually develop.

Therapeutic level 3 facility for "at risk" youth (boys) ages 12-17 (group home). Owned three facilities and managed over 30 employees. Also worked every position in the company from residential counselor, house manager, assistant Director, etc.
