In the Language Attention & Cognitive Engineering (LACE) laboratory, the main focus of our research has been understanding the effects of second language acquisition on various aspects of cognition: executive attention, cognitive control, ambiguity resolution, lexical retrieval, and consciousness. To this end, we implement both behavioral and subjective measures to investigate cognitive architectures underlying human information processing.-Co-author of peer reviewed articles published in scholarly journals-Oversee laboratory operations, recruitment, hiring, and training-Supervise laboratory manager and research assistants -Execute project work plans, communication plans, and the change process-Design experiments including methods, procedures, protocols, surveys, and proposals-Program and implement psychological tasks, manage equipment, and collect data-Analyze data using descriptive and inferential statistical models, draft and review manuscripts for publication, and give conference presentations
