Ensure corrective actions and lessons learned are shared across the supply base for like processes. Partner with the Adient Product Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams to define and execute product and process standards to prevent future supplier issues on safety critical parts/components. Work with peers in Operations Quality and Business Unit (Customer) Quality to ensure the greater Quality organization is working together on the successful launch of new programs Lead the establishment of Commodity Excellence Teams for stampings, welded assemblies & mechanisms, fasteners, tubes, plastics, headrest guides, extrusions, laminated fabrics to ensure all product and process standards related to each commodity are included in supplier APQP, launch, and into current production parts Develop Best Business Practice Audits for select safety critical commodities (welding, stamping, fasteners, tubes, etc.) and ensure audits are completed for all suppliers
