I assist my partner to oversee the voting process for this division. We troubleshoot as needed the polling site. Engage, support and promote party candidates on the ballot. Educate the voters of the issues being addressed and the candidates positions at each election. Encourage and assist voter registration and voter turnout.

Initially we were the Allegheny West NAC with the city contract from 2005 to 2018. Mr Ron Hinton reconfigurated us into the Allegheny West Civic Association and RCO in 2020. In both I was and currently chair monthly community meetings with service briefings and otherwise volunteer my services to benefit our community. I interact with our elected officials to apprise and connect the community with the various services that they offer. As president I represent the community at economic redevelopment meetings, new business review meetings, planning and providing much needed services such as block clean ups, work readiness, summer jobs for our youth, workshops, job fairs, health fairs, senior services and food give aways. I assist in connecting the community with a variety of city service organizations as well.

This is also a voluntary activity.The foundation is the sponsoring organization for the Civic Association which is registered with the state of PA. . I attend quarterly board meetings at New Courtland Life Senior program. Here we discuss and support various community activities. Solicit funds from local businesses, as well as city state and federal funding organizations to sponsor community improvement projects, senior aid programs, jobs and training activities for youth food and weekly giveaways

I do intakes and assessments of individuals who are struggling with mental health, physical health and addiction challenges in their life.

I attend the combined quarterly community meetings held by these programs.

I was the primary nurse for a 23 bed women's co-occurring unit. The women were court stipulated to rehab in lieu of prison because they also had drug addiction challenges to overcome. This involves working with other professionals primary care providers, DHS workers, parole officers, psychiatrist, therapist to coordinate their physical and psychological care, learn life skills, get jobs, secure housing while the women are in rehab. I facilitated a weekly women's group meeting and coordinated their next level of care in the recovery process.

As a seasonal auditor for the contract insurer, I audited records for a variety of providers. In 2012, I had the larger sites, Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, CHOP and their larger satellite providers. In 2013, I audited many smaller stand alone Primary Care providers throughout the city and two of the surrounding counties, along with all twelve of the GPHA sites and all of the nine City run Health Centers.
