Oversee the Health Issues and Challenges Grant Program, 78.5 million dollars that fund 175 organizations in Indiana to address public health priorities i.e.chronic diseases, HEP-C, tobacco prevention and Cessation, food insecurity/obesity, community paramedicine and community health workers

Led the design of the state model to implement strategies to integrate primary care and behavioral health care statewide through stakeholder partnerships in community mental health centers, rural health centers, federally qualified health centers and community health centers.

Identified discretionary funding streams, Principal Investigator, manage contracts associated with grant programs, RFF and RFP development. Provided financial/programmatic oversight to 8 federal grants; a combined $30 million budget.

Institutional Child Protection Services Director /January 2011 to May 2012 1. Led the program design and launch of the statewide CPS investigation institutional unit.  2. Hired and supervised 10 institutional investigators stationed in DCS offices statewide.  3. Approved 100+ monthly decisions of abuse/neglect findings in schools, daycares and residential facilities.  4. Collaborated with Regional Managers, DOE, DFR, Law Enforcement, Centralized Hotline, and Local Office Directors on safety protocols, policy decisions and assessment findings. Child Family Services Review Manager/November 2007 to October 20111. Wrote/Supervised the implementation of the State’s 2-year Program Improvement Plan (PIP). The PIP addressed a failed federal audit around child safety, permanency and well-being. After the plan’s success, 2 million dollars of federal fines were waived.2. Approved adoption subsidy amounts and requests for over 300 adoptions (2008). Conducted Administrative Reviews of adoption subsidy appeals. Organized the annual responses for over 10,000 adoption subsidy status reports (2009.) 3. Interim Supervisor for the Multicultural Program Manager who handled immigration, deportation, and translation services. (September 2011 – February 2012)Licensing Consultant (March 2007 - November 2007)1. Conducted audits and compliance reviews of licensed child placing agencies (foster home agencies and group homes.2. Worked with new agencies to complete applications to become a certified and licensed child placing agency.3. Approved exceptions, variances and waivers for child placements. Marion County Family Case manager (July 2005 - March 2007) 1. Managed 30+ caseload of children in need of services and placed in out of home care.2. Conducted visits and coordinated services for children and families.3. Prepare court reports and attended fact-finding and permanency hearings.4. Facilitated Child and Family Team meetings and developed case plans.
