About Regina De Faria Costa

I work with IT since 1993 and had focused the last 12 years in project management. I managed huge contracts related to software development projects for public and private sector, using traditional methodologies as agile and hybrid. The projects were from many segments as finance, administrative processes, healthcare, logistic and legal and the technologies were mainly Java, .NET, PHP e ECM.The team size to coordinate these projects were around 120 employees organized in cells to attend different kind of projects. I was responsible to get in unsuccessful projects, identify the source problems for deviations and elaborate and execute actions plans to turn the projects as rentable for the company and to fulfill the customer requirements. Recently, I managed the Center of Excellence from Cast IT group with 5 companies where I was responsible for the global PMO, size estimation from projects, definition and improvements related to managing and software development process.I have advanced skills in RUP, Scrum, Agile, Kanban, CMMi, Function Point Analysis, requirements management, ECM, MS-Project, PMBok, PMI-ACP and ITIL.May certifications are PMI-PMP, CSM, MCTS MS Project, RUP, RMUC, CDIA+, ECM Practitioner.
