We have stepped back from publishing and have sold most of our titles to St. Benedict's Press, and I continue to work with them on a project-to-project basis. My most recent collaboration with them is the book The Stations of the Cross for Kids, due to be published in 2021.I also work for my sister and brother-in-law's ministry to families, The Messy.

As of 2012, we turned our formerly self-publishing imprint into an actual publishing house. We specialize in Catholic fiction that evangelizes the imagination by telling a good story. Our current focus is on developing series for teens and adults that feature quality storytelling with characters and themes of particular but not exclusive interest to.

I work with contracted authors to craft their manuscripts (or in the industry "screenplays") according to the principles of storytelling structure and ensure the scripts are finished in a timely manner. I also occasionally work with the staff artists in providing images to be used as illustration models.

Together with my husband, Andrew Schmiedicke, I edited and recommended for publication fiction for Sophia Institute Press. We edited mystery, romance, historical, women's fiction, YA and middle school fiction.

I had the pleasure of working for Our Sunday Visitor from 1994 to 1999 as a freelance writer. I mainly did feature articles on different Catholic groups, but occasionally contributed a spiritual reflection or current story.

I was a "cartoon columnist" for YOU! Catholic Teen magazine for about four years after I graduated from college, writing a conventional comic strip (Real Comic Relief) and an apologetics comic (Answer Me!). I also wrote occasional articles for the magazine, which ceased publication in the late 90's.
