Growing up in a "clothing" family, I would be correct in saying fashion is in my blood. I believe personal style and how you put it together is your calling card before you say a word.I am a self-made fashion designer and entrepreneur who started her brand in the late 70s, growing it into a multimillion dollar venture on my own minimal investment. My label "REGINA KRAVITZ" was a fashion savvy, well-priced dress and sportswear line catering to the large group of women entering and excelling in the managerial workforce in the early 80s. Credited with commercializing the iconic jumpsuit, along with many other enduring trends including the slip dress and soft day-to-evening dressing, I personified my own style as a brand and my own needs as a business woman.I excel at visualizing an entrepreneurial concept and developing it in a logical, strategic way. These skills have aligned me with the Brooklyn Fashion Incubator, as an active board member. I am also an honored member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). I have created workshops and tutorials for several organizations, including Philadelphia Fashion Incubator, Berkley College and have been honored multiple times as a founding woman in business (WomeninBusiness.org, BFI).As an articulate and personable public speaker, I have presented to both large and small groups. The motivational and inspiring story of my own life journey exemplifies the spirit and necessary skill set for women interested in starting their own business and achieving success as an entrepreneur. As a life long fitness devotee, I am an ACE-certified fitness professional with many accreditations in weight loss, nutrition, resistance training. I have always believed that all fashion and style are about the body that wears it and the combination of lifestyle and wellness are the amplifying ingredients.
