Facilitates contracted repairs for office machines leased/owned bythe Veterans Affairs Regional Office (VARO)Supply ClerkProcures goods and services to meet the needs of approximately 220employees: general office supplies, printed material, toner, reasonableaccommodations etc. Ensures purchases comply with Federal AcquisitionRegulation, Public Laws, and Agency Policy. Monitors inventory control forcommonly used items.Fund Control Point: Certifies over $220K in invoices annually

Receives, analyzes, segregates, arranges and associates all incoming mailwith respects to case numbers and priorities and furnishes file folders toVeteran Claims Examiners, Claims Clerks and Rating personnel on a prioritybases. Controls and schedule mail pull for workload of all the operatingelements within the team at the discretion of the Coach. Conducts extensivesearches for records when initials searches have been unproductive. Performsa variety of related duties such as sequence checks, pulling files designatedfor retirement or transfer assuring protection of contents, expand or contractfile storage as necessary. Conduct record inventories and recordreconciliations. Review content of files to determine if claims are pending.
