Reginald originally studied Applied Physics and worked in scientific research. He then moved into sales and marketing for Johnson Matthey Plc., a major precious metals manufacturer. He managed the sales and service operations for two business units and worked on strategic projects in the Materials Technology Division. In 1994 he joined Interflora in the Service Sector where he was Head of Operational Development and Head of Telemarketing. After some years in consultancy and a brief spell as Head of Corporate Customer Services in a local authority, in 2004 Reginald became a lecturer at University College Birmingham and specialises in Strategic Management and Service Operations. Reginald is currently engaged in a research looking at the influence of Operations Managers on business level strategic decisions. Reginald holds an MBA (Open) and is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Other qualifications: PGCLTHE, FHEA, HND in Applied Physics, DMS.
