From 2006 to 2011 Mr. Hardy was the Founder and President of Concordia Pharmaceuticals, Inc. an oncology drug development company acquired by Kadmon Corporation. From 1992 - 1998, Mr Hardy was the Founder and President of SANO Corporation (NASDAQ:SANO), a developer of novel transdermal delivery systems that was acquired by Elan Corporation. Mr Hardy was the first employee of IVAX Corporation (AMEX:IVX), a developer of generic and branded pharmaceuticals from 1985 - 1991, and President of a wholly-owned subsidiary. IVAX was acquired by TEVA Pharmaceuticals.Mr Hardy is an Investor and Corporate Strategy Consultant to Diamedica Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DMAC) Diamedica is developing a recombinant protein replacement therapy (DM199) to restore healthy levels of the protein known as human tissue kalllikrein-1 (KLK1). The KLK1 system promotes local blood flow and vasodilation. Diamedica's initial focus is on clinically studying DM199 as a treatment for acute ischemic stroke and preeclampsia. The U.S. market opportunity is over $20 billion for these indications. Clinical results will be available in 2025.
