Modifying the SMS system (Soldier Management System) is my main function and solving CR (change requests) issues. I created a Picker (Widget) to allow users to determine what Office symbol to use to work Soldier cases. The Picker consisted of a Directorate, Division, Branch and Section (Business Area) drop down lists. Each item selected from the drop down lists, are used to display the correct Office symbol. Once the Office symbol is selected, the user can click the Forward button to forward the case. After the case is forwarded, users can click the Resolve button to automatically close the case. This was all created to allow the user to work cases easier and faster instead of having to do them manually. All the modifications were done using C#. I also have a support role in solving problems for Soldiers, Contractors and Civilian workers. These problems came in as Remedy tickets to be solved. Calling or visiting these users is also a part of solving these problems. All development work was done using a Virtual Machine. Use Oracle SQL Developer to help support the development. Microsoft Word is used for documentation and Microsoft Visio is used for flowcharting.

Created several applications using Microsoft.net with Visual Basic. Applications created are: 1. Economic Development system used to display information of city properties. 2. Salary Look Up system used to display Metro employee salary information (http://services.louisvilleky.gov/salarylookup). 3. Archive application used to add, update or delete archive records.4. MDT application portal used by Metro Police, Metro Fire and Metro EMS. The portal allows the users easy access to applications simply by touching the screen. I also have maintained other Microsoft.net applications. Kept the city’s web site updated with the latest information (http://metronet.yes)
