Aggie Alumni - I remember the phrase “Don’t study engineering for the money, but study it because you’re passionate about it.” As one of my professor once said. It all makes sense. Ever since I got into my career as a Distribution Engineer, I quickly adapt the interest of what it takes and the duty to perform the job. I was a hard driven student who strived to receive an electrical engineering degree at A&T. I was passionate about achieving the degree yet, after graduating I wasn’t sure where to start. I realize the varieties of careers you can begin with an engineering degree. I wasn’t set and stone with what exactly but I knew I wanted to do something. 8 months passed after graduating I find myself an opportunity to start my career. The perseverance in me never gave up. I have 3 years of experience in the distribution field and plan to have many more as I continue to expand growth and knowledge. As a distribution engineer i’m passionate to help clients and to offer the best quality, time management, knowledge, and experience. Currently work at K&A Engineering Consultant in Raleigh, NC as a Distribution Engineer II. Where we provide client-centric solutions to challenges by attracting and developing a world-class workforce comprised of thought leaders connected through a culture of mutual respect and united purpose.
