Provides leadership and coordination in implementing the City's Youth Violence Prevention Program that includes: developing and implementing policies; identifying resources; applying for and managing grants, such as the current Gang Reduction, Intervention, and Prevention Program; conducting strategic planning; and evaluating the success of all city youth violence prevention programs. This is a high visibility position that requires working with elected officials and community groups, extensive public speaking, and group facilitation.
