● Engaged and mobilized communities, local authorities and other relevant government entities like Rural Electrification Agencies(REA) in the construction of 15 Micro Hydro Schemes in Malawi (3-Mulanje District), Mozambique (6 –Manica District) and Zimbabwe (6- Manicaland Province) under the Regional Micro Hydro Project (Catalyzing Modern Energy Access for Isolated Communities in Southern Africa) supported by European Union Energy Facility (EU-Energy Facility).● Under the Rural Sustainable Energy for Development (RUSED) project, coordinated and engaged with the ministries of energy, REAs and communities, in the construction of a micro-hydro plant and solar powered irrigation schemes in Malawi (Nsanje and Chikwawa Districts) and Zimbabwe(Mutare, Gwanda and Gutu Districts) for irrigation to increase agriculture productivity supported by European Union Energy Facility (EU-Energy Facility).● Formed a team that designed capacity building strategies for energy planning targeted towards local authorities, communities and rural electrification. agencies in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe under the E-Mindset program (Energizing the Millennium Development Goals Program) funded by the European Union Energy Facility (EU-Energy Facility). ● Developed the strategic and implementation plan to foster increased awareness of the relevance of energy access in Southern Africa including SADC Infrastructure Department.● Coordinated Monitoring and Evaluation of the Infrastructure department which included Energy Access Program, Water and Sanitation and Housing. ● Coordinated external monitoring and evaluation for the EU Energy Facility funded projects (Result Oriented Monitoring-ROM). This was done in conjunction with EU assigned consultancy firms. ● Developed and maintained partnerships, with donors and government sectors e.g., UNDP, HIVOS, Department of Renewable Energy (Ministry of Energy and Power Development), EU.
