Managed chemical supplies for all 5,000 Wal-Mart and 660 Sam’s Club stores managing $217MM in spend. Directly supervise one Sourcing Coordinator that performed issuance of POs, supplier product shipments, and store assistance as part of the tasks and duties assigned. Led program with Operations, Construction, and Environmental Groups to target $7MM in cost saving initiatives for chemical and MRO commodities. Perform analysis of supplier analytics for continuous improvement projects and data reported to Directors and Vice Presidents. Continually managed internal stakeholder resolutions deploying the use of Remedy and reported monthly KPIs to executive management team. Executed performance reviews with key suppliers, operations and facilities on product evaluations, supplier key performance indicators. All targeted SKU reductions and cost savings reported to Executive Directors and Vice President of Realty Procurement Services.

Managed purchase orders, supplier data, and contracts ranging from $2MM to $3MM. Led in the development of quality flow down and contract requirements to contractors and subcontractors for the Space Shuttle Program (SSP) and International Space Station (ISS). Determined Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), ITAR, TINA, and supplemental requirements for source determinations before contract award. Worked with subcontractors on contract flowdown requirements, special addendums, corrective action reports and other actions as needed. Led supplier development and improvement processes that included design collaboration, aggregate planning, lean six sigma and continuous improvement activities and methodologies. Helped develop the Procurement Quality Assurance (PQA) database that managed all subcontractor quality data reporting through the contract award to contract close life cycle. Developed the Quality Assurance Record Center (QARC) audit program that started with approximately 68% data entry and record compliance and increased efficiencies to 97% within a two-year cycle.

Managed nine quality inspectors and technicians. Supervised casting operation as it pertains to all quality aspects for production, inspections, and shipment of product. Managed and maintained TS 16949 quality systems and led recertification efforts that resulted in approval to the TS 16949 quality system. Developed quality metrics reporting system that included Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), shipping, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction reported results to executive management team and corporate headquarters.
