I'm a creative and technical writing professional with a background in education and community organizing. My work as a teacher and organizer was inspired by my desire to provide equitable access to learning for students historically disrupted by racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic barriers. Similarly, my work in technical writing aims to provide equitable access to understanding products and technologies for people from all kinds of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds by prioritizing accessible and inclusive language.Meticulous research, critical thinking, and equity is at the heart of all my work. I aspire to continue expanding my knowledge in technical writing roles, but as a former educator, I'm always open to learning new things. Most recently, I've helped train a large language model (LLM, AI) to generate higher quality responses in factuality, essays, and creative writing by providing model responses to user queries. This experience led me to deepen my knowledge of AI prompting and in-context learning. It's my hope that AI continues to grow under responsible and ethical development.When I'm not working, I'm working. My personal creative projects take up the rest of my time, but I'll always find a moment to watch an A24 film or play an esoteric indie game. Although, that doesn't mean I won't binge watch the occasional "trashy" TV show—I'm a lover of all art in every medium!
