- Creating a SMRI database about the sinkholes related to the salt exploitation by summarizing, for each case, the geology, the historical of leaching and the collapse conditions; - Numerical and analytical analysis of Geomechanical instabilities in salt caverns related to the hydrocarbon storage activity.

- Rock salt creep and the impact on well stability and integrity;- Synthesis of drilling problems found while drilling salt formations in Angola and Brazil’s offshore fields;- 2D numerical analysis of the impact of salt bodies on the mechanical behavior of surroundings formations;- Minimum mud weight (MMW) prediction for drilling through salt formations.

- Experimental study of fracture permeability of shale with and without proppants: interpretation of laboratory test; - Follow-up of shear fracture tests on shale samples from the Vaca Muerta sedimentary formation in Argentina;- Data analysis in order to provide information about the permeability of these fractures with and without proppants.
