My passion for sales began when I bet my brother I could sell all of his high school basketball raffle tickets in 15 minutes if he drove me to the mall. 12 minutes later, 50 tickets were sold and as a result, he avoided being benched for one game.As a hotel commercial strategist, my job is to help teams drive revenues. I bring value from my well-rounded career that touches on all aspects of hotel sales and marketing; versatile in property size, in vertical markets, in geographic locations and in scope (pre-opening, local, national, multi-property).I love to build from scratch, whether building new markets or building innovative programs. The skills I most enjoy using are training and coaching hotel leaders, presentations, and public speaking.My creativity and resilience fuel my ambition as a problem-solver. Sharing these experiences gives me so much reward that I would actually do it for free (which, I do, through non-profit volunteer work as an advocate for persons with aphasia).Through it all, from selling raffle tickets to earning top incentive trips, I’ve learned to collaborate, listen, and be a self-starter who is always committed to performance and data driven outcomes. Most of all, I learned to deliver on what I promise.
