• Ensures the smooth flow of operation of the office and effective delivery of quality outputs of every department through implementing the policies and procedures which are duly approved by the Board of Directors under the guidance of the President• Analyses activities, costs, operations and forecast data of every department and recommends growth strategies and programs to the President• Ensures that the company maintains harmonious relationship with all its stakeholders through effective internal and external communications • Ensures that all POEA or other government agency required or requested documents have undergone thorough assessment prior to its submission• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource government requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records and representing the company in any external affairs• Provides final interview for candidates and post-interviews for returning crew • Reviews and approves the deployment line-up • Checks and monitors the departure of crew members and their travel to and from their country of destination• Conducts Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) for joining crew members• Monitors the working condition of the crew members and ensures that all notable concerns are considered and acted upon through a dialogue with the concerned parties• Issues performance-related certifications for crew members• Reviews and validates accuracy and propriety of accounting-related transactions, such as receipts of collections, transfer of accounts, petty cash, check vouchers, refunds, cash advances, loan, payroll (statutory deductions and remittances, withholding taxes) and cash disbursement.
