MailTalk provides automated individual and intelligent response – allowing influence and means to create user behavior. MailTalk integrates with and synchronizes all corporate systems, such as ERP, CRM, HR, CMS etc., it also ensures correct and validated contact data and automates business processes. MailTalk efficiently handles vast quantities of recipients.The MailTalk client is developed in Silverlight using WCF RIA Services to communicate to the Server. MailTalk also has a cloud-based version, which has been implemented in Windows Azure.MailTalk is implemented in .NET 4.0. Here is a fraction of the technologies I have been working with during the development of MailTalk:- Silverlight- WCF RIA Services- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)- Microsoft Azure- Unity- Linq2Sql- Task Parallel Library (TPL)- Reactive Extensions (Rx)- Windows Installer XML (WIX)This position has allowed for me to significantly improve my skills in developing good-looking UI using Silverlight and WPF. It was also thrilling to make MailTalk cloud-based by working with the exiting project of Microsoft Azure. I was mainly working with Claims-Based Authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) for both Active and Passive Federation. This was achieved using the WS-Fed and the SAML 2.0 protocols. My first task was to implement a SAML 2.0 Service Provider (SP) for ASP.NET applications. I also worked with the product, Identify, which is a product using a pluggable architecture for introducing Authentication and Protocol mechanisms, e.g. DigitalSignatur, NemID, and so on.
