As an Operations Specialist, I built relationships while communicating with patients and their healthcare providers in order to efficiently and accurately fulfill their needs. I gained exposure to other teams including Intake, Billing, Filling, and Delivery. This position allowed me to take my passion for helping others and put it into action while using my interest in science and healthcare. It also helped me further sharpen my teamwork and communication skills while gaining experience the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Employed at a chain pharmacy in a busy area of Nashville offering a full-service retail pharmacy and over-the-counter drugs. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: entering and processing new prescriptions and refills, dispensing medication, and providing excellent customer service. I gained hands on knowledge of retail operations including cash handling and credit-card processing, stocking medication and supplies, and opening and closing hours responsibilities.
