Performed following duties in the plant as field Operator as well as Control Room Operator.• Operate plant through Delta V(Emerson) DCS control system in safe and efficient manner. • Start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting of plant, pumps, turbines and process system.• Monitor outside equipment.• Shut down, isolate and prepare mechanical equipment & electrical equipment for maintenance. • Perform tests, record data, carry out statistical control on operations, and write logs. • Develop operator procedures for normal operation, start-up or shutdown of the units. • Participate in safety audits and programs and provide emergency response when required • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. • Prepare daily plant reports of assigned area.• Involved in plant commissioning and start up.

Work duties and equipment worked on in Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO): Worked as control room / field operator in Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO)Qafco has big power plant having the total capacity of 1000 MW and a big distribution system.I worked on the following equipment’s,• Seven No of Avon Gas Generators each having capacity of 10.0 MW• Frame-6 (combine cycle) gas turbine-having capacity of 36MW with HRSG.• Two No’2 of diesel generators,(GMT and Leroy Somer) having capacity of 3MW each.• Auxiliary boiler having the capacity of 94 t/h, steam outlet pressure 48.0 Bar and steam temperature 258 OC• Refrigeration system using for chiller plants.• Operate the control system of plant and distribution which consist of two types of control one is Honey well DCS system and other is Micro SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system)• In the distribution system there are many transformers having capacity of 0.75 MVA to 125 MVA.• Distribution feeders made by ABB with REF542+ relays and other kind of relays. • Operation of HRSG (63 t/h)

• Involved in commissioning and start up of the plant.This plant having an ABB V94.2 combined cycle power plant having capacity of 212MW. (145MW gas turbine, 67MW steam turbine and HRSG), demin plant, compressor house, wastewater management system, and 132kV switchyard.
