Expert Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr)Dubai Customs Jul 2009 - PresentOrganization Sustainability & CSR is part of the Corporate Communication Department at Dubai Customs which ensures the implementation of its strategic vision towards sustainability & responsibility on society, community, economy and the environment. My role is to design, develop & review the CSR Strategy, chalk out the action plan through various programs, projects and activities and ensures implementation of these plans in coordination within the available resources and finally report on the organization’s sustainability as per global standards. In addition, ensure global best practices on CSR and participate in relevant awards, locally, regionally and internationally.Moreover, I am also responsible to provide expertise & active involvement on the overall Corporate Communication function which includes Excellence, Strategy, Objective & Goal Setting, Best Practices, Performance Management & Innovation. Highlights of the various activities and achievements include: Prepared Annual Sustainability Report for Dubai Customs for the years from 2008 to 2019 in accordance with International GRI Standards being the first public organization in the Middle East and the only Customs Organization in the world.
