Richard Horn serves as Managing Director of Aspect Company, a financial, business, and real estate advisory and consulting company. Previously, Mr. Horn was Senior Vice President at NAI Capital since 2007 where he served on the Industrial Council for NAI Capital’s Los Angeles, Orange County and Inland Empire markets. Rich specialized in the sales & leasing of industrial and office properties throughout Southern California. Such transactions have encompassed a wide range of business sectors, including warehouse/logistics, manufacturing, cold storage/food processing, office, and high-tech companies.Mr. Horn started his career working in the steel industry in 1991 as Operating Manager at Southland Steel, a sheet metal company based in Los Angeles. He also owned and operated Excel Steel Products, manufacturing die stamped parts for companies such as American Water Heater. In 2001, while with Southland Steel and Excel Steel Products, Rich started developing industrial buildings in the San Gabriel Valley and got his Class B General Contractors License form the State of California Contractors State License Board in 2003. He left the steel industry to pursue a career in real estate development and brokerage in 2005.Over the past 20 years he has successfully completed over two hundred thousand square feet of industrial buildings as Owner/Builder. Operating from this position has enabled Mr. Horn’s honing of his development experience encompassing all aspects of project management from land acquisition, design, entitlement, construction, through the leasing and sale of the completed projects. Mr. Horn is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate and Economics. Additionally, Mr. Horn, as stated, holds a Class B General Contractors License in California. Mr. Horn sat on the America Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR) Advisory Board for the Los Angeles East/San Gabriel Valley Region. He is also a member of NAIOP’s Commercial Real Estate Development Association.Rich was born and raised in Arcadia, California and currently lives in Orange County with his wife and two daughters. Rich has a passion for sports. He coached both of his girls’ basketball and softball teams throughout their childhood and is still playing baseball (position: catcher) in the Orange County MSBL League.
