Rei Schultz (Karasawa) is an architect with various experience in commercial, retails and healthcare projects, in different scale of project sizes. She graduated from the architecture program (B.Arch) at Illinois Institute of Technology and obtained her WA architectural licensure in 2023. She currently works as an Architect at Cushing Terrell at Seattle location.She is passionate about providing learning opportunities to younger designers and students and help them get their first exposure to the real world experience in architecture. She is a Co-chair of AIA Seattle Young Architects Forum (YAF) since 2022, and has been helping the committee organize construction tours for the community. Through the network she created in the committee, she helped organize an architectural construction tour for high school students as well. Rei is also an advocate promoting diversity and equality within our industry as well as promoting the influence of Asian cultures through advocating Asian American designers. She is also a Co-Chair of AIA Seattle Asian American Designers Union (AADU) committees since 2022 and has been actively involved organizing events and meetings to empower and connects Asian American designers and architects in the area._____Please let me know who you are before adding me on LinkedIn
