Spent teenage years in Bloemfontein. Then moved to JHB and got my first job with Nashua.I gained a wealth of knowledge working with Nashua - in terms of how to deal with people, customer service and liaison, sales, accounts, entertaining prospective clients, nurturing existing client relationships and obtaining goals and targets.Then moved to Ballito, KZN. Opened Musselini's restaurant. The restaurant was not successful. We then looked into converting the restaurant into a bar. The location was perfect for this as Ballito is a prime holiday destination. Bostons Action Bar became a very successful business. We expanded twice a year over a 6 year period. Eventually we became known as the most successful pub on the north coast. During the time other bars within the area opened and closed. Bostons was the place to be, setting the benchmark for pubs along the coast. Most of the opposition had to close down.I sold the bar in 2004. During the years leading up to the sale of the bar I renovated my home and handled the whole project myself.In 2005 I then bought into the ACE Security Laminates franchise. Which was in the security industry. Providing security film and laminates, as well as smash-and-grab to a variety of customers. I decided to leave the franchise and began my own company called Advanced Security Worx with several other partners.In 2008 got married. We relocated to Gauteng in December 2010 and started a new company called See-Thru Security which focused on the production and installation of see through burglar bars. The bars are quite unique in that they are made out of clear poly-carbonate. I have since designed my own security gate/door which is patent pending. In the three years since our relocation, the business has expanded to have its own warehouse in Northriding, Fourways and we have an installation team that are highly professional and efficient.
