We grew snapsort to be the second largest decision engine on the web. Helping people make the best purchase decisions across an array of categories including: cameras, phones, computing products, cars, restaurants and recipes. We grew to over 7M monthly users. Snapsort was acquired by Rebellion Media in 2012 as it's largest acquisition.

Working with private investors doing hard money lending in southern Ontario. Funding of deals up to 10M.

Founded this company while studying engineering at the University of Waterloo, we built custom, enterprise grade software systems for US insurance carriers and large US employers such as Walmart and Aflac. I was in charge of strategy and business development as well as a myriad of other activities involved in running the business. I worked off and onsite.

Booksoft developed multimedia authoring tools for schools. We offered various multimedia yearbook products, and an online community for students. I was in charge of strategy, marketing, business development and sales. I also participated heavily in the design and development of the software.

This was 4 month term position while attending University. I was in charge of managing the development of new software and services for RIMs corporate partners as well as managing the relationship with potential corporate partners.

I was in charge of writing software for the roaming functions of Qualcomm's high speed CDMA internet connection in its upcoming chipset release. I spent my extra time building a software emulation package that allowed Qualcomm to run their software without the need for expensive hardware stretch setups (which ran ~$25,000 each and were cumbersome to test.
