Thonemann Robertson Thompson was a boutique Private Client firm specialising in Australian equities. Turning what initially was going to be a short term job opportunity between secondary and tertiary education, running between the Thonemann Robertson Thompson office and the stock exchange, into a full time role, Malcolm started supporting management in the back office working in the scrip and finance departments. Moving into the front office, his role extended to becoming a SEATS and CLICKS operator buying and selling shares and derivatives for the advisors. Due to the firms size Malcolm was able to work throughout numerous departments and understand all aspects of a share broking business.
