Through our M&E support and institutional capacity building, we help organizations navigate through phases of program design to ensure that projects are built on evidence, reflect the realities on the ground, and maximize learning.Through field offices around the world we support governments, foundations, community leaders, and the wider development community in helping understand their impact and improve on what we know.My role includes:- Managing Causal Design’s portfolio of quantitatively focused technical evaluation and research- Providing technical expertise on rigorous quantitative evaluation methods and the current body of published international development literature and research- Supporting business and development operations for Causal Design's global project portfolioMy experience and expertise include: Impact Evaluation Design and Analysis, Performance Evaluation, Growth Diagnostics, Resilience Research, Markets and Value Chain Analysis, Theory of Change Development, and Cash Transfer Program Design

- Conducted technical reviews on impact evaluation proposals to assess quantitative merit and design- Designed and delivered Impact Evaluation workshops to build capacity among government agencies- Assisted in creation of the research foundation for an operational-design tool for implementing Conditional Cash Transfer programs in developing countries utilizing a comprehensive database of published impact evaluations- Compiled, coded and analyzed a comprehensive database of 217 education-related impact evaluations

- Authored report analyzing 1000+ USTDA programs to identify statistically significant trends in Cost-Share and Success Fee assignment among various sectors and types of USTDA activity- Conducted six first round evaluations of programs centered on energy infrastructure, extraction, and capacity building in developing countries

- Conducted market and structural analysis of top 80 percent of 1200+ Investor-Owned and Rural Co-op based US electric utility firms for application towards improving African electric utility infrastructure- Researched best practices of public and private sector innovation and challenge grant based funding for incorporation into MCC’s existing international development funding model

- Developed baseline survey instrument and monitored and cleaned data throughout implementation- Designed and delineated randomization scheme for impact evaluation- Analyzed and interpreted health survey/census data collected by the government of South Sudan- Applied statistical analysis linking health, education, and employment indicators

- Researched and analyzed intersection of US international development policy with demographic trends- Designed and edited six Country Profiles for CSIS’ report, Balancing Tradition and Modernity- Co-authored CSIS project paper, U.S. Development Policy in an Aging World- Collected and compiled statistical data relevant to world development economic indicators

- Managed and maintained financial statements, transactions, and records of contributions- Coordinated logistics for community events, including a $20,000 college scholarship program and the 2011 ADC Michigan Awards Gala (800+ guests)

- Directed all aspects of 6-8 annual leadership training programs hosting 20-200 participants with budgets ranging from $10,000 - $60,000, for an annual budget of approx. $500,000- Developed and implemented curriculum for 4-6 annual LEAP community engagement programs
