As a child, I was a huge fan of the Harriet the Spy books. I wanted to be a spy because I truly thought it was a cool and attainable profession for a 6-year-old. 🕵️ I would go around my neighbourhood "spying" on people, being an observer and obsessively writing everything down in a journal (I still have it, and it's hilarious in retrospect). Year after year, I kept up with the practice of writing down my daily thoughts and observations until it was time to head off to university. Naturally, I chose journalism school since writing about the world around me had always been my creative outlet and given me the ability to make sense of things. I'm fortunate enough to write professionally on a freelance basis, and I'm eager to continue that journey wherever it may take me. ✍️I'm now ready to tackle new forms of written and digital communication, with a particular interest in marketing, business and emerging digital technology. I bring my growth-minded and results-driven professionalism to any new challenge I take on, exploring topics of interest from hip-hop to healthcare to hospitality and beyond. My experience has given me a discerning eye for detail and a strong ability to juggle several tight deadlines at once.
