A Hybrid Model for Detection and Classification of Fishing Activity: A Context-Based Approach• Objective: Developed a hybrid model combining kinematic data with geographic and temporal information to detect and classify fishing activities.• Techniques Used: Employed DBSCAN for extracting fishing spots and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for classifying trajectories represented as images. Used Fuzzy Logic to combine the results from the CNN and DBSCAN, providing robust outcomes regardless of unreliable collaborative information.• Impact: The research will be presented at the International Fusion 2024 conference in the "Context-based Information Fusion" session and published in the IEEE scientific journal, demonstrating significant improvements in detection accuracy and classification reliability.
