My main responsibilities include:Data Collection: Gather information from diverse sources, such as security logs, open sources, intelligence feeds, and security communities.Threat Analysis: Examine data to identify patterns, trends and suspicious behavior. This includes analyzing threat groups/actors, investigating attacks, and identifying vulnerabilities.Report Development: Produce detailed reports on identified threats, including technical analysis, potential impact and mitigation recommendations.Continuous Monitoring: Maintain constant surveillance over the organization's systems to quickly detect and respond to any suspicious activity.Collaboration: Work together with other security teams, such as SOC (Security Operations Center) analysts, security engineers, red team and network administrators to implement security measures.Research: I study social engineering techniques and phishing campaigns to understand how attackers deceive victims and the modus operandi of the infrastructure used.Proactive Intelligence: Anticipate future threats by analyzing trends and developing proactive defense strategies.Tool Development: Create and use software tools to automate the collection and analysis of threat intelligence data.Training and Awareness: Educate and train employees and other stakeholders on current threats and security best practices.Incident Response: Participate in the response to security incidents, providing insights into threats and helping to mitigate the impact.Compliance and Security Policies: Ensure that threat intelligence practices are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
