When I first started window cleaning in the 1980's it was above all a lifestyle decision. It afforded an opportunity to enjoy flexible working hours and an excellent pay for the time input. In time this grew into a decent size business employing about 15 window cleaners. One day an important client asked me to remove some scratches from glass. I gave him a quote, not realising that it is easier said than done. So I searched the internet far and wide to find a solution fast. That was the start of Glass Polish (now called Glass Restore Australia). A background in chemistry studies did not hurt either. Today Glass Restore has a presence in most major centres in Australia.
