About Reinhardt Botha
I am a firm believer in that IT should serve the business. As such I endeavour not only to build my technical skills but also my soft and business skills. Technically I am competent in a variety of programmer languages and environments, with particular strengths on the database side of things. As my post-graduate degrees specialised in information security it should not be surprising that I feel very comfortable in that area. This is true of the technical areas, but also extends to infosec management and security governance. I am a certified ITIL Expert. I am currently doing research in the fields of Information security and privacy. I stay in touch with industry through doing consulting jobs.I passionately believe in the power of presentation and "selling" your ideas and thus put extra effort into being a better presenter and communicator.
