• Provide crisis intervention.• Conduct clinical assessments of violence risk, suicide risk, and substance use.• Complete immediate needs assessments, comprehensive psycho-social assessments, individualized service plans and relapse prevention plans.• Assist with conflict resolution and anger management.• Help the student develop appropriate socialization skills.• Assist the adolescent in understanding and accepting self and others.• Coordinate care through referrals with close involvement with treatment providers.• Work collaboratively with students, their families and teachers and school administration.• Provide staff with essential information to better understand factors affecting a student’s performance or behavior and assist teachers with behavior management techniques.• Plan and develop district wide substance use prevention initiatives.• School liaison to North Shore Coalition Against Substance Abuse
